Twilight sets tails wagging
There’ll be paws a-plenty pounding the pavement at UQ’s Twilight Running Festival in April, with Guide Dogs Queensland named as this year’s official charity partner.
To celebrate the paw-tnership, paw-ticipants are being encouraged to put their best paw forward and help raise money and awareness to support Guide Dogs Queensland.
“What a great way to get some exercise, meet some friends and enjoy the event in the cool of the twilight while helping raise money for a great cause.” said CEO Michael Kightley
“Everyone who finishes the race will feel extra accomplished knowing every dollar raised along the way will be helping Queenslanders who are blind or have low vision in every step of their journey to freedom and independence.”
“We are very proud to have been named the charity partner of such an enjoyable event.”
Twilight Running Festival representative Ricky Swindale said they are excited to share a paw-tnership with Guide Dogs Queensland in 2018.
“We are delighted to support our four legged friends and help raise awareness for such a fantastic charity” Mr Swindale said.
“As it’s our 10th anniversary, we are looking to raise as much money as possible to help blind and vision impaired Queenslanders. Every entry counts, so grab your fur child and head down for a night of smiles.”
The Twilight Run will be held on Sunday, 22 April 2018. Enter online today, with your support going towards helping Queenslanders with low or no vision for the long run.
