Studying can be tough.  For most of us, it takes a lot of dedication, motivation, mental strength and well…. caffeine.  

We don’t often think that something like exercise could help us clear our minds when we have a lot on.  But the importance of physical activity has been highlighted in recent studies. There is even evidence demonstrating that enhancing physical activity may help with preventing depression.  

One way to keep your mind clear and focused for the 2019 year is to run.  Why don’t you try pounding the pavement in the fresh air? And the UQ Twilight run could be your perfect goal race as an added incentive to keep you going!  

The UQ Twilight Run is held on 28 April 2019 and starts on the St Lucia UQ Campus.  With a great atmosphere, loads of entertainment and food trucks, it’s a fun run with a difference.  What better than to have a fun and exciting goal in mind and to feel great whilst training to achieve it!

Pick from the 5km, 10km or half marathon event and get out there.  There is even a 1km event for the kids.
