Race Packs

Participants will be allowed to collect their race packs with ID or confirmation emails only. If you are collecting for a team or on behalf of another person, please ensure you have written permission or confirmation emails. Click here to see race pack collection details.

What is in the race pack?

The Twilight Running Festival prides itself on high quality event merchandise. After all, we are all runners too and would only provide our runners with what we would like included as part of our event entry fee. Information on what is included in your race pack can be found online here.

Collecting race pack for another person

Competitors are recommended to collect their own race packs. If you are collecting for a team or on behalf of another person, please ensure you have written permission or confirmation email.

Collecting race packs

Competitors are recommended to collect their own race packs. However, we do allow collection of family or friends. We require written approval for collection or alternatively the confirmation payment receipt received via email.

Will you post out my race pack?

No, competitors are required to collect their race kit between the designated race pack collection times. Please check race details for more information. Please ensure you arrive at least 1hr prior to your start time to collect your pack.

Singlet sizing

Please check the sizing chart on the event information page to ensure you obtain the best and most appropriate size to suit. Sizing will be similar to your standard running apparel.

 

Tax invoices

You are able to access your tax invoice for your entry fee from within your confirmation email. If you have not received a confirmation email, it is likely that your email address supplied is incorrect. Please contact us and we will resend your confirmation email.

Confirmation emails

You will receive an automated confirmation of your entry from our registration partner Streamlined Events upon successfully registering. You will then receive another confirmation email within race week detailing your race number for the event and the important race briefing for your event.

I have not yet received a confirmation email what do I do?

You may have entered your email address incorrectly or the automated confirmation may have been filtered to your junk mail. When collecting your race pack, please bring with you personal identification so we can issue you with your race pack.

Refunds

Strictly no refunds to any competitor, regardless of situation.

Transferring registration

Competitors will only be allowed to transfer their entry to another participant or change their entry to another event at Twilight Running Festival 2016. No transfers will be permitted after Thursday 5pm 18 March 2016. Please complete a transfer form here if you wish to administer a transfer.

Weather in Brisbane?

Weather conditions are generally ideal for running with temperatures in March with evening temperatures approximately 18 degrees. For more weather statistics click here.

Storms policy

In the event of a storm, the Twilight Running Festival will be cancelled to ensure the safety of all participants, volunteers and patrons. Please see our refund policy in the unlikely event that the festival is cancelled.

To ensure the safety of all participants, volunteers and patrons involved in the Twilight Running Festival, weather updates will be provided in the following forms of communication. Facebook, Twitter and the Event Website in the latest news section.

Pace Groups

Achieve your goal at the Twilight Running Festival with dedicated and experienced pace runners for the general public. Pace groups will be available for the half marathon and 10km run/walk events.

Pace groups available are:

Half Marathon: 1hr 24 | 1hr 30 | 1hr 35 | 1hr 40 | 1hr 45 | 1hr 50 | 1hr 55 | 2hr | 2hr 10 | 2hr 20
10km Run/Walk: 40min | 50min | 60min | 70min

Baggage tent

Participants will be able to leave their personal items in the “baggage tent” while running. All participants will receive a special tear off luggage tag on race numbers. We ask you tear off this tag and attach to your belongings before you drop your bag off. We recommend you do not leave valuables

Event photography

Electronic timing

Twilight Running Festival events will utilise electronic timing chips which are affixed to your race number. Your personal race time (or net time) will be recorded as you cross the timing mats on the start line and will finish when you cross the finish line mats at the end.

Note: Your official time for category placings is based on your gun time and does not take into account your net time.

Race rules

Running with headphones
Running with headphones is not recommended, however we do allow the use of these whilst participating. If you choose to wear headphones, please ensure the volume is at a reasonable level so that you are able to hear instruction from course officials. Failure to follow instruction on course will result in automatic disqualification.

Can I run with a pram?
Yes, you may run with a pram. However, we ask if you can please start at the back of the race to ensure safety for your child as well as competitors.

Running in the correct event
Please ensure you participate in the event which you are registered. Failure to start and finish in the event you are registered may result in disqualification.

Registration fees

Entry fees are based on individual registrations per event. There will be four entry fee levels available for each event. Each of these entry fees will be calculated based on the date of entry. Please click here to view current entry fee rates.
